I had a lot of fun at @TigerBeetleDB‘s SD ‘25 talking about the power of single-node and simplicity in data analytics and AI systems. Also met a lot of cool people working on distributed system problems. Now onto @sigmod! #systemsdistributed

I was inspired by each member of the team, from the hand written letters welcoming us to the conference, to how each team member introduced speakers demonstrating the communal ownership, and unity, not soulless formality.

Back from #sd25 systemsdistributed and still awe-struck, residually amazed, lingeringly impressed, totally after-glowed, and hugely inspired ! The lineup was fantastic, the organization next level, and the location: unapologetically cinematic! The last talk from @jorandirkgreef (and the crew) didn't just end the conference - it redefined what a technical presentation _can_ be. Huge kudos to @tigerbeetle and the speakers! Glad and honored I was able to hang out with the most talented, gifted, humble, and nice people on the planet, which includes all of Tigerbeetle. Fittingly, the motto was "pay it forward". And boy have they done! (I feel pif-in-debt now).
